Brice Burris

Brice Burris is a partner at Fears Law, specializing in personal injury and civil trial law. Known for his tenacity and unwavering dedication, he has earned numerous accolades, including recognition in the Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame for securing the highest intentional tort verdict in Texas and being named a Super Lawyer Rising Star. Brice’s interest in law began with a school field trip to a courtroom and grew while studying Political Science at Texas A&M University and working for the Texas State Senate. He has built a reputation for tackling challenging cases and fighting for justice. One of his proudest achievements was representing a young boy who suffered a fractured foot in an accident, securing a structured settlement for his college education. This case, like many others, reflects Brice’s commitment to positively impacting his clients’ lives.

He is a staunch advocate for the 7th Amendment right to a civil jury trial and is deeply motivated by his clients’ need to rebuild their lives after injury. Notably, he and his trial team were inducted into the Texas Lawyer Verdicts Hall of Fame for a $166 million verdict, Texas’ highest intentional tort jury verdict in 2018.

Outside of his legal work, Brice is actively involved in his community, contributing his time to organizations like the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Originally from East Texas, Brice embodies southern hospitality, kindness, and loyalty—traits that endear him to his clients and colleagues. When not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking, attending concerts, watching Texas A&M football, and embracing the adventures of parenthood with his family.
